Cheap SMS gateway?
Your phone IS the gateway.
Skip carrier wholesale markup. Install our Android app, plug in your existing phone, send SMS at flat $0.02 each — same price to any country. Twilio charges 4-7× more for non-US destinations.

What "your phone is the gateway" really means
Traditional SMS gateway pattern (Twilio, etc.):
Your app → Twilio API → Twilio carrier-routing infrastructure → Per-country wholesale rate → Mobile carrier → Recipient phone
MySMSGate pattern:
Your app → MySMSGate API → Your Android phone → Your carrier's normal SMS network → Recipient phone
By cutting out the carrier-routing middle layer (where Twilio etc. negotiate per-country wholesale rates and add markup), per-SMS cost stays flat at $0.02 regardless of destination. The trade-off: your Android phone's signal/network/SIM is the bottleneck. For transactional SMS volume up to ~50k/month per account, this is fine. For 1M+ marketing SMS/month, traditional providers are still better.
FAQ
What is an SMS gateway and how is yours cheap?
Bridge between app and cellular network. Traditional gateways charge wholesale carrier rates plus markup, varying 30× by destination. MySMSGate is cheap because YOUR Android phone is the gateway — phone uses your existing SIM (often unlimited SMS). You pay nothing extra to your carrier per SMS, and a flat $0.02/SMS platform fee for queue/retry/dashboard/API.
Do I need to buy hardware?
No. Any Android phone you already own — even old one in a drawer. App runs in background. Some businesses use $40 second-hand Android with prepaid SIM as dedicated gateway, total under $50.
Won't my carrier flag the SMS as spam?
Transactional SMS (OTPs, alerts) — no, look like normal personal SMS. High-volume marketing — possibly yes; carriers throttle phones sending hundreds/day. Recommended for transactional volume up to ~1000 SMS/day per phone. For higher, add multiple phones; platform load-balances.
How is this different from Twilio's pricing?
Twilio's per-SMS price varies 30× by destination. MySMSGate is flat $0.02/SMS to any country — predictable billing. Reason: Twilio buys wholesale per-destination; we route through YOUR phone's existing consumer plan.
Is there a free tier?
